Today saw the entire Scout Group attend the joint St George’s Activity Day between Blacktoft Beacon & Beverley and Hornsea Districts.

The morning was full of activities for everyone to have a go at; there was scooters, stomp rockets, crossbows, cooking on fires & martial arts to name a few!

In the afternoon all sections paraded with their flags round to the grandstand for a short service. Here everyone re-made their Scout promise and the Group was presented with many awards. Our leaders earned the Commissioners Commendation, the Bar to the Award for Merit & various long service awards!

The Group as a whole also won the Blacktoft Beacon District Friendship Award! This goes to the group who has participated in the most activities with other Scout groups over the year. Well done to all the sections who made it happen!
