On Thursday 17th July Hessle Explorers organised a Blacktoft Beacon District Explorers end of term seaside visit to South Shore at Bridlington. The event was attended by Explorers and leaders from Hessle, South Cave, Kirk Ella, Howden and Snaith. Everyone had fish & chips provided by Linda at Mushy P’s fish & chip shop followed by fun on the beach and in the sea. The sandcastle competition got a bit serious with Russell and Darren winning, the volley ball was a bit of a free for all but great fun then we move on to the sea. A “paddle” was what was suggested but someone forget to tell the Explorers. Wet seats on the way home. Fantastic.
