On Sunday, November 11, members of the Hessle Branch of the Royal British Legion marched from their branch on Salisbury Street, across The Weir, down Prestongate and to All Saints’ Church where a Service of Remembrance was held at the church, followed by Wreath Laying at the War Memorial in the church grounds.
The parade then reconvened and marched back up to their branch office for afternoon tea.
The main guests this year were the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of the County James Dick, Alan Johnson MP and the Mayor of Hessle, Councillor Phil Davison.
