On Sunday 6th July Paul the Explorer Leader gratefully received a cheque for £600 from the Hessle West Open Gardens team. This money was a follow on from some donated the year before to start the build on the outdoor activity area at the rear of the Scout Den. The money this year is intended to go towards an electric shutter for the kitchen window overlooking outdoor area.

The Scout Groups leaders and Adults assisted the Open Gardens team on the open day by providing a shuttle bus route around the area ensuring people could visit as many gardens as possible. This was a great success and is being considered again next year. Thank you to all the team for your help.
