Hessle Beavers have had a fantastic day, taking part in the County Beaver Fun Day at Raywell. The event had an international theme, with each district being allocated a different country. As Blacktoft Beacon we were part of Japan, and a big thanks to Kirkella and Unit 50 of the 23rd World Scout Jamboree who brought along their ‘Japan in a Box’ activities. We had lots of fun making key rings, smores and cake pops with the USA, flags with Canada, zulu shields and animal print hats with South Africa, snakes and bats with Indonesia, boomerangs with Australia, pizzas with Italy as well as lots of bouncing on the castles and football fun. The day ended with a fantastic show from the Earth Bound Misfits. A big thanks to everyone from the Humberside County team for a fantastic day.
