This year Apache Scouts entered five teams into the District Camp Craft competition and came away with some fantastic results. The Scouts are scored on all the activities they take part in over the weekend, which includes setting up their own camp and cooking area, a selection of Cube / Taskmaster challenges, cooking all their own meals, camping as a team and a day of bigger challenges including giant ball maze, trek carts, axe throwing, fire lighting, communication, pioneering, bivi building and map reading. Scores from all these activities are combined to find the winners, with Apache teams finishing in 1st, 2nd, 7th, 9th and 14th places, a fantastic achievment.
