As part of the Cubs 100 celebrations Cherokee & Arapaho cubs went to Alton towers with cubs from around the district and joined cubs from all over the country,we had a brilliant day on rides including the runaway train and the rapids. Summer Walk
The cubs finished the term with a summer hike from Brantingham to South Cave. They went uphill & down dale in the glorious evening sunshine. We completed the evening with chocolate & drinks, awarded badges and said farewell to Ethan, Oliver & David,( Charlotte & Grace in their absence) who were moving upto Scouts.
4th July American Night
For American Independence day the cubs had an American Baseball evening, they learnt the rules, how to pitch, base-running and fielding before taking part in a game. We had supper of hot dogs & juice to complete the evening. Thank you to Hessle Rugby Club for the use of your facilities and to Hull Scorpions…
