A couple weeks ago we had a talk from Yvette at Pickering Road Orchard, about how apple trees grow through each season. This week we saw some excellent cooking skills by our Beavers. Young people used vegetable peelers and knives, rubbed butter into flour, and produced some brilliant apple crumbles. We hope they all tasted as good as they look.
