This week the middle group went on a visit to our local Sainsbury’s to look at it’s disabled access for their A Million Hands Project.
They looked at how suitable the shop was to people with physical disabilities and mental disabilities such as dementia. It has nice wide aisles for wheelchair access and t-loops at the checkouts for people with hearing aids.
As it turns out Sainsbury’s is very disabled friendly so we didn’t need to write them a letter with some suggested improvements!
Thank you very much to Sainsbury’s for having us and showing us around.
